6 x Dives, 3 x nights Accommodation.
Join us for the Australia Day Long Weekend to Solitary Islands (Coffs Coast), trip includes share accommodation for three nights (Fri – Sun) and six boat dives, 2 Saturday, 2 Sunday, 2 Monday.
The Northern Solitary Islands in particular boast excellent sub-tropical diving, with approximately 80 different types of hard corals, soft corals and abundant tropical and pelagic fish life. In summer we have Manta Rays and Spotted Eagle Rays, and in winter Grey Nurse Sharks, Giant Australian Cuttlefish and of course many opportunities of encounters with playful Humpback Whales and friendly pods of Dolphins. The Humpback whales migration north and then south starts in June and completes in November. A spectacular feature of North Solitary Island is it�s extensive Clown Fish and Anemone beds which carpet the floors of many dive sites. You will also have the pleasure of encountering many beautiful species of marine life, including Turtles, Spanish Dancers, many colourful tropical fish and much more. These islands provide fantastic opportunities for the photographic enthusiast and divers to all levels of certification will ‘find the diversity of marine and bottom life unique and astounding. The many dive sites located around the Northern Solitaries provide endless opportunities to encounter new and exciting marine creatures on every dive, which will make your diving holiday a memorable experience. If boats are not for you, there is always the beach. Enjoy the three beaches: Arrawarra, Mullawarra and Mullaway where you can stroll, swim, fish, surf, windsurf, sail or just relax. A short distance away there are many other attractive alternate activities such as canoeing at Red Rock, white water rafting down the Nymboida, or the Pet Porpoise Pool in Coffs Harbour. Our location is the perfect get-away. Mullaway, although located close to Woolgoolga and 20 minutes north of Coffs Harbour, is a serene and tranquil coastal village with pristine treelined beaches, national parks and rainforests.
